Facebook-f Twitter Valerio visited the Strait of Messina last year to experience what it means to swim across it for 3.5Km!   The strait is a manifestation of the force of nature, where two seas converge and currents push warm and cold waters to intermingle. There is a strong and constant wind that propels the waters from north to south or vice versa. The sheer magnitude of this natural spectacle is daunting, and the mere thought of confronting it is intimidating.
