Grant received: €3.000An initiative to reduce the gap in access to clinical trials for lung cancer patients — especially underrepresented populations (women, the elderly, patients with comorbidities). Matching tools + outreach + enrolment tracking.
The project is in the initial structuring phase. A first architecture of the digital platform has been outlined and the centres in the Lazio region with active early-phase clinical studies in oncology have been identified. An operational document is being drafted to define the procedures for building the collaborative network, the roles of the participating centres, and the update procedures.

To improve accessibility, awareness and equity in clinical trial participation for patients with advanced NSCLC in the Lazio region through the development of a patient-centred digital platform.
Centralise and simplify access to trial information; empower patients with clear educational materials; provide a rapid overview of eligibility for available studies; improve referral pathways to trial centres; and promote equitable access through culturally appropriate and literacy-sensitive design.
