Run Rome The Marathon 2027 — Run with Strongers
Run Italy's most iconic marathon in the name of solidarity: charity bib for Run Rome The Marathon 2027 with Strongers, charity relay Run4Rome and 5 km Fun Run on 11-14 March 2027. Every registration funds mini-grants for young oncology researchers. Limited spots — early-bird prices until 30 June.
The most solidarity-driven weekend of the year — Rome, 11–14 March 2027
From Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 March 2027, Rome becomes the world capital of running. Run Rome The Marathon is the world's seventh marathon by prestige (Brand Finance 2026), Europe's leading marathon, and since 2026 a member of the European Marathon Classics — the circuit uniting the nine most important European marathons. In 2026 it sold out at 36,000 runners, four months before race day, with more than 60,000 participants across all weekend events.
Strongers Social Club ETS is an official charity partner: run with us — with a Strongers charity bib or kit — and turn every step into a mini-grant for lung cancer research.
Weekend programme
- Thursday 11 March: Expo Village opening
- Saturday 13 March: 5 km Fun Run — non-competitive run/walk through the heart of Rome, open to everyone, families and dogs welcome. Festival finale at Circus Maximus.
- Sunday 14 March: 42 km Marathon + Run4Rome Relay — competitive race for athletes and charity relay teams
How to take part with Strongers
🏅 Charity Marathon Bib 42 km — from €109
You get a charity bib at a locked price, run in Strongers kit along the most spectacular course in Europe, and receive a code by email to complete your registration on the marathon website. Limited spots: maximum 20 charity bibs available.

- €129 from 1 July to 15 September 2026
- €139 from 16 September until entries close
👥 Run4Rome Relay — full team (€250 for 4 runners)
Your team of four runners shares the 42 km through Rome's most iconic streets. An unforgettable experience combining sport, friendship and solidarity. 4 Strongers t-shirts included to wear on race day. Available slots: 10 teams.
🏅 Run4Rome Relay — single runner (€60 / €65 with t-shirt)
Want to run the relay but don't have a team yet? Sign up as a single runner: we add you to the Strongers single-runner list and match you with other participants to form a complete team. Choose without t-shirt (€60) or with 1 Strongers t-shirt for race day (€65). Available slots: 10.
🏃 5 km Fun Run — €20
Saturday's non-competitive run/walk, open to all, through the heart of Rome. Festival finale at Circus Maximus with activities and entertainment for families. 1 Strongers t-shirt included.
Why run with Strongers
Strongers Social Club ETS funds €3,000 mini-grants for young Italian oncology researchers under 40 studying lung cancer. Registration proceeds go directly to the next Strongers for Research grant round. In the 2025 and 2026 rounds, 7 researchers were awarded, totalling more than €20,000 directed to scientific research.
Marathon bib purchase deadline: 31 October 2026. Codes are valid until 15 January 2027.
