Rome Marathon 2027 charity relay

In the Run4Rome relay four runners share the 42 km of the Rome Marathon, Sunday 14 March 2027. With Strongers it costs €220 per team, and the proceeds fund mini-grants for young lung cancer researchers.

How the relay works

The Run4Rome relay is the non-competitive team race of the Rome Marathon: four runners, each running one leg, together covering the 42 km course on marathon day.

How much it costs

€220 per team of 4 runners, one flat fee. It includes entry, bibs and legs. No VAT.

How to sign up

  1. Choose the relay on the event page and pay online by card or PayPal.
  2. You receive your code and instructions by email.
  3. You complete your team's registration on the official marathon website.

No team yet?

Sign up as a single runner (€60): we add you to the Strongers list and match you with other participants to form a team of 4.

Until when

Registration is open until 28 February 2027, unless spots sell out first: in 2026 the marathon sold out four months before race day.

Where the money goes

The proceeds fund the Strongers For Research call: €3,000 mini-grants for young Italian cancer researchers under 40 working on lung cancer. About the grant →
